The bracket ladders, in full

This is the part most LMS comparisons skip. TalentLMS does not charge per seat: it charges a flat fee for a band of monthly active users, and the price steps at each band boundary. Knowing where the steps fall is the difference between a predictable renewal and an unpleasant one. The rates below are per month on annual billing.

Core

UsersBilled yearly (USD per month)Billed monthly (USD per month)Annual total stated by TalentLMS (USD)
1 to 401191491,428
41 to 701592191,908
71 to 1002192792,628

Core stops at 100 users. Above that you move to Grow or Pro, not to a higher Core bracket.

151 to 200329
201 to 300349
301 to 400359
401 to 500369

TalentLMS states the annual total for the 1 to 70 bracket as USD 2,748 and for the 401 to 500 bracket as USD 4,428. On monthly billing those two brackets are USD 299 and USD 489 per month. Note the shape of this ladder: the jump from the first to the second bracket is the steepest one in the whole plan, and everything after 101 users is a gentle climb.

TalentLMS states the annual total for the 1 to 100 bracket as USD 5,388 and for the 801 to 1000 bracket as USD 9,348. On monthly billing those two brackets are USD 579 and USD 969 per month. Source for all three ladders: talentlms.com/prices, retrieved 9 September 2026.

The two add-ons that change the bill

Flex user limit
USD 150 per month
billed yearly on the Pro 1 to 100 bracket, stated by TalentLMS as USD 1,800 per year. USD 200 per month on monthly billing. Plus USD 6 per additional monthly active user.

Flex lets you register an unlimited number of users and prices on the number of different users who log in each month. TalentLMS states that Flex comes with soft limits and does not block logins once the plan limit is reached. Without Flex, the base plan is bracket-capped.

TalentLibrary content
USD 32 per month
billed yearly at the 1 to 40 user bracket, stated as USD 384 per year. USD 38 per month on monthly billing.

The ready-made course library, priced separately from the platform. The figure shown is the smallest bracket, which is the one published as a single number. Budget it as a line of its own rather than assuming content is included.

Source: talentlms.com/prices, retrieved 9 September 2026. TalentLMS states the flexible user limit is available up to 500 users on the Pro plan.

Worked example: 100 seat portal on Pro with Flex

A company sitting in the Pro 1 to 100 bracket that also wants headroom for seasonal contractors. Assume 25 additional monthly active users beyond the bracket. Every line is a published TalentLMS figure; the only arithmetic is the per-additional-user multiplication and the sum.

Flex add-on basePublished add-on rate150
25 additional monthly active users25 × 6150
Total449 + 150 + 150749

Platform cost only, and it excludes TalentLibrary content. The comparison worth running is against the learner-time cost of the same programme, which is usually the larger number. Use the cost per employee trained calculator for that side of the ledger.

Where TalentLMS stops publishing

One plan has no price: Enterprise. TalentLMS marks it as quote-required in its own pricing data and publishes no bracket ladder for it at all. What it does publish is the entry threshold, which is useful in itself: Enterprise starts at 1,000 users, or at 500 users if you are taking the Flex add-on.

That threshold sets the honest expectation. If your portal is under 1,000 users, the published ladders above are the prices you will pay, and no sales conversation is required to find that out. If you are over it, TalentLMS has not published a number and this site will not invent one.

Frequently asked questions

How much does TalentLMS cost per month?

On annual billing the entry price for each paid plan is USD 119 per month for Core (1 to 40 users), USD 229 per month for Grow (1 to 70 users) and USD 449 per month for Pro (1 to 100 users). On monthly billing the same entry brackets are USD 149, USD 299 and USD 579 per month. TalentLMS states that all prices are in US dollars with no hidden costs.

Is TalentLMS priced per user?

No. TalentLMS charges a flat plan price for a user bracket rather than a per-seat rate. The vendor states that pricing is based on the monthly number of users that log in to your portal, so the bracket you sit in is set by monthly active users. Moving from the 1 to 40 bracket to the 41 to 70 bracket on Core takes the annual-billing price from USD 119 to USD 159 per month regardless of exactly how many users you added.

How much does TalentLMS cost per year?

TalentLMS states four annual totals directly. Core 1 to 40 users is USD 1,428 per year. Core 71 to 100 users is USD 2,628 per year. Grow 1 to 70 users is USD 2,748 per year. Pro 1 to 100 users is USD 5,388 per year. For every other bracket the vendor publishes the monthly-equivalent rate and states that the annual total is that rate multiplied by 12.

Does TalentLMS have a free plan?

Yes. The TalentLMS Free plan costs USD 0 and supports up to 5 users and up to 10 courses with unlimited email support. TalentLMS states there is no time limit and no credit card is required.

What is the TalentLMS Flex add-on and what does it cost?

Flex removes the hard user limit and charges for actual monthly logins instead. On the Pro 1 to 100 bracket it costs USD 200 per month billed monthly, or USD 150 per month billed yearly (USD 1,800 per year), plus USD 6 per additional monthly active user. TalentLMS states that Flex comes with soft limits and does not prevent users from logging in once the plan limit is reached.

How much is TalentLMS Enterprise?

TalentLMS does not publish an Enterprise price. Its own pricing data marks the Enterprise plan as quote-required with no brackets at all. What it does publish are the entry thresholds: Enterprise starts at 1,000 users, or 500 users with the Flex add-on. Any specific Enterprise figure you see quoted elsewhere is not coming from TalentLMS.

Does TalentLMS offer discounts?

Two are published. Annual billing is 20 percent below monthly pricing, which is already reflected in the annual-billing figures on this page. Registered nonprofit organisations can receive a further 20 percent discount on the annual plan, granted after signing up for the Free plan and sending TalentLMS the portal name, nonprofit status documentation and a link to the organisation's website.
