Every price above is Dale Carnegie’s own published figure, read from its scheduled-event data and subscription pages on 9 September 2026. US and UK figures are each in their own currency as published. No conversion has been applied in either direction.

The flagship course, franchise by franchise

The Dale Carnegie Course (formally Effective Communications and Human Relations) is the programme most people mean when they ask what Dale Carnegie costs. Here is what the same course was published at on one day, by delivering franchise.

Both anchors are Dale Carnegie’s own published event prices, read on 9 September 2026. The subtraction and the twelve-seat multiplication are the only arithmetic applied and both are shown in full. Travel and accommodation are not included and Dale Carnegie does not publish them.

The other named public courses

Where a range is shown, both ends are real published event prices from named franchises, not an average or a smoothed band. Where a single figure is shown, it is that named franchise’s published price for that scheduled event.

United Kingdom prices, in pounds

The UK franchises publish in pounds sterling. These are their own prices, not conversions of the US figures above, and the US figures on this page should not be read as applying in the UK. Note the VAT treatment, which the US listings do not carry.

The South West U.K. event record carries a VAT-included marker. The US event records carry none. Compare the two markets on their own published terms rather than on an exchange rate.

The on-demand subscription, and what a year of it costs

Dale Carnegie’s Leadership Skills and Communication Skills starter subscription packages are published at $59.99 per user per month, billed monthly. The subscription also bundles 15 percent off a core Dale Carnegie Leadership Course, which Dale Carnegie states as a $350 value. This is self-paced digital content and a different product from the facilitated seat prices above.

Both inputs are Dale Carnegie published prices. The multiplication is shown in full and nothing is interpolated. Dale Carnegie publishes the monthly rate and states billing is processed monthly, so the twelve-month figure is a product of the published rate rather than a published annual price.

Corporate and custom in-house work: no published price

Everything above is an open public course. The moment you ask Dale Carnegie to deliver in-house for your own team, the published pricing stops. Four Dale Carnegie corporate pages were checked on 9 September 2026 and none carries a currency symbol, a figure, a seat band or a rate card:

Dale Carnegie’s own framing of custom work is that it assesses your needs and builds a tailored solution, and corporate buyers are routed to a contact form. This site does not publish an estimate for what that costs, because Dale Carnegie does not. The useful move for a buyer is to take the published public-course seat price for the equivalent programme into the conversation as the reference point, then ask the franchise to show the in-house quote against it per participant.

How to read a Dale Carnegie price before you buy

• Price the event, not the course. Open the course page, find the specific scheduled event you would attend, and read the price on that event. A price quoted for another city is not your price.
• Check the currency and the VAT marker. UK events publish in pounds and some carry a VAT-included marker. US events publish in dollars without one.
• Separate live online from in person. Live online is delivered centrally at a single published rate. In-person delivery is franchise-priced and therefore variable.
• Ask what the Sustainment bundle adds. The live online course was USD 2,195 and the version bundled with a year of Sustainment was USD 3,199, a published difference of USD 1,004 per seat.
• Do not expect an in-house rate card. There is not one. Benchmark the quote per participant against the published public seat price for the same programme.
