Dale Carnegie Training Cost 2026

By Oliver Wakefield-Smith, Founder, Digital Signet · Verified 9 September 2026

Dale Carnegie does publish its seat prices. It publishes a different one in almost every city.

Most training vendors this site covers either publish a rate card or refuse to publish anything. Dale Carnegie does something more unusual, and it is the reason a single “Dale Carnegie course price” does not exist. Dale Carnegie is a franchise network. Seat prices are published, but per scheduled event, set by the franchise delivering that event, and in that franchise’s own currency. The price sits inside the event listing on Dale Carnegie’s own course page. Read the full unfiltered event list for one course and you get a spread, not a number. Every figure on this page is one of those event records, read on 9 September 2026. None is converted, averaged or estimated.

United Kingdom prices, in pounds

The UK franchises publish in pounds sterling. These are their own prices, not conversions of the US figures above, and the US figures on this page should not be read as applying in the UK. Note the VAT treatment, which the US listings do not carry.

The South West U.K. event record carries a VAT-included marker. The US event records carry none. Compare the two markets on their own published terms rather than on an exchange rate.

The on-demand subscription, and what a year of it costs

Dale Carnegie’s Leadership Skills and Communication Skills starter subscription packages are published at $59.99 per user per month, billed monthly. The subscription also bundles 15 percent off a core Dale Carnegie Leadership Course, which Dale Carnegie states as a $350 value. This is self-paced digital content and a different product from the facilitated seat prices above.

Worked example: 25 users on the on-demand subscription
Published rate: USD 59.99 per user per month
One user for twelve months: USD 59.99 x 12 = USD 719.88
25 users for twelve months: 25 x USD 719.88 = USD 17,997.00
USD 17,997.00 per year for 25 users
Against the published live online seat price of USD 2,195, the same budget buys 8 facilitated seats (8 x USD 2,195 = USD 17,560).

Both inputs are Dale Carnegie published prices. The multiplication is shown in full and nothing is interpolated. Dale Carnegie publishes the monthly rate and states billing is processed monthly, so the twelve-month figure is a product of the published rate rather than a published annual price.

Corporate and custom in-house work: no published price

Everything above is an open public course. The moment you ask Dale Carnegie to deliver in-house for your own team, the published pricing stops. Four Dale Carnegie corporate pages were checked on 9 September 2026 and none carries a currency symbol, a figure, a seat band or a rate card:

Dale Carnegie’s own framing of custom work is that it assesses your needs and builds a tailored solution, and corporate buyers are routed to a contact form. This site does not publish an estimate for what that costs, because Dale Carnegie does not. The useful move for a buyer is to take the published public-course seat price for the equivalent programme into the conversation as the reference point, then ask the franchise to show the in-house quote against it per participant.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Dale Carnegie training cost?
The flagship Dale Carnegie Course was published at $1,795 to $2,500 per seat across US franchises on 9 September 2026. The lowest published US seat price was $1,795 at the Emerald Coast franchise and the highest was $2,500 at the Central Texas franchise. The New York City franchise published $2,470 for the same course. The live online version, delivered centrally, was $2,195 per seat. In the United Kingdom the South West U.K. franchise published GBP 2,640 per seat including VAT. Dale Carnegie also sells an on-demand subscription at $59.99 per user per month. Corporate and custom in-house engagements carry no published price.
Why does the same Dale Carnegie course have different prices?
Dale Carnegie is a franchise network, and the seat price is set by the franchise delivering that particular scheduled event. The price is published inside the event listing on Dale Carnegie's own course page, not as a single national rate. That is why the Dale Carnegie Course was $1,795 per seat at Emerald Coast and $2,500 per seat at Central Texas on the same day. Across twelve seats that difference is $8,460. Check the specific event you intend to book rather than assuming a national price.
How much is the Dale Carnegie Course in New York City?
The New York City franchise published $2,470 per seat for the Dale Carnegie Course (Effective Communications and Human Relations) for the eight-week course beginning 11 February 2027, read on 9 September 2026. The same franchise published $2,570 per seat for High Impact Presentations, a two-day course, and $2,260 per seat for Strictly Business: The Dale Carnegie Immersion Seminar, a three-day course.
How much does Dale Carnegie cost in the UK?
The South West U.K. franchise published GBP 2,640 per seat, VAT included, for the Dale Carnegie Course delivered at Whiteley in Hampshire. The Central England and Northern England franchises published the same GBP 2,640 per seat for Develop Your Leadership Potential. These are the franchises' own published prices in pounds sterling. They are not conversions of a US dollar figure, and a UK buyer should not expect the US prices on this page to apply.
What does Dale Carnegie charge for corporate in-house training?
Nothing is published. Dale Carnegie's custom training solutions, corporate leadership development and customizable courses pages carry no figure, no rate card and no seat band, and route corporate buyers to a contact form instead. The published prices on this page are all for open public courses. A corporate in-house quote has to come from the franchise, and the published public-course seat prices are the only public anchor you can take into that conversation.
Is the Dale Carnegie on-demand subscription cheaper than the course?
Yes, by an order of magnitude, and it is a different product. The Leadership Skills and Communication Skills starter subscriptions are published at $59.99 per user per month, billed monthly, which is $719.88 per user for twelve months. Dale Carnegie also bundles 15 percent off a core Dale Carnegie Leadership Course with the subscription, which it states as a $350 value. The subscription is self-paced digital content; the $1,795 to $2,500 seat prices buy facilitated classroom or live online delivery.
