Udemy Business Pricing 2026
By Oliver Wakefield-Smith, Founder, Digital Signet · Verified 9 September 2026
One published price, one time-limited discount with a hard end date, and three plans with no price at all.
Udemy’s footnote names the end date: the Back to Business promotion is valid for new Team Plan customers only through 23 September 2026. It includes a 14-day free trial, billing begins after the trial ends, existing Team Plan and Enterprise Plan customers are not eligible, the promotional price excludes applicable taxes, and Udemy states the offer may vary by region and is subject to local laws. If you are reading this after that date, treat USD 360.00 as the operative list price and re-check the plans page.

US pricing, in US dollars, as shown on business.udemy.com in English. Source: business.udemy.com/plans, retrieved 9 September 2026. Udemy states in its own support documentation that pricing may vary depending on several factors including the location of your account, and that the promotion may vary by region. No figure for any other market is published by Udemy in a form this page could quote, so do not read these as worldwide rates.
How the Team Plan bill is actually built
Udemy gives the formula in its own words: the price for a Team Plan subscription is calculated using number of users multiplied by the applicable price per user’s licence, plus applicable taxes. It is an annual subscription priced per person and payment for the entire subscription term is required in full. Three details change what you end up paying.
- The admin consumes a licence. Udemy’s support FAQ answers this directly: yes, the account administrator requires a licence. Ten learners plus a programme owner is eleven licences, not ten.
- The seat limits are regional. The plans page says 2 to 50 people. The support documentation is more precise: the minimum licence requirement is 2 or 5 depending on your region, and the maximum seat count is 20 to 50. Which minimum applies is shown during checkout.
- The promotional rate is a first-year rate. Udemy states the subscription auto-renews at the then-current annual list price after the first year unless cancelled before renewal. Budget year two at list.
A maximum of 20 to 50 seats means the Team Plan is not a small-company plan, it is a single-team plan. A 60 person company cannot buy Udemy Business at the published price at all. It has to talk to sales, and at that point the price becomes unpublished. That threshold, not the per-seat rate, is what determines whether Udemy Business has a public price for you.
Worked example: 25 licences, year one and year two
Twenty-four learners plus one administrator, on the Team Plan, bought while the promotion is live. Both lines are a published Udemy rate multiplied by the licence count. Nothing is estimated, and no tax is modelled because Udemy states the promotional price is exclusive of applicable taxes.
| Term | Working | Total (USD) |
|---|---|---|
| Year one, promotional rate | 25 licences × 252.00 | 6,300.00 |
| Year two, renewing at list | 25 licences × 360.00 | 9,000.00 |
Year two uses today’s list price because Udemy says renewal is at the then-current list price, which is not published in advance. Treat USD 9,000.00 as the floor for a flat renewal, not a forecast. Licence cost only. For the learner-time side of the ledger, use the cost per employee trained calculator.
What the unpriced plans do and do not tell you
Three Udemy products carry no price: Enterprise Plan, AI Fluency and Leadership Academy. The one comparison Udemy does publish across the priced and unpriced tiers is library size. The Team Plan is listed with access to 28,000 or more top courses; the Enterprise Plan with 30,000 or more. That is a difference of a few thousand courses, and it is the only quantified gap between the plan you can buy at a published price and the one you cannot.
Udemy also notes that add-on plans and the Japanese and Korean collections are available for an additional fee, without quantifying it. If a multilingual rollout is part of your plan, that is an unpriced line item to raise in the first call rather than discover at contract stage.
Frequently asked questions
How much does Udemy Business cost per user?
The Udemy Business Team Plan lists at USD 360.00 per user per year on the US site. At the time of verification it was struck through in favour of a promotional rate of USD 252.00 per user per year, a 30 percent saving that applies to the first year only, for new Team Plan customers only, and is valid through 23 September 2026. Udemy states the subscription auto-renews at the then-current annual list price after the first year unless cancelled.
How much does Udemy Business Enterprise cost?
Udemy does not publish an Enterprise Plan price. Its plans page shows the Enterprise Plan for organisations of more than 20 people with the line 'Contact sales for pricing' and a demo request. The AI Fluency plan (more than 20 people) and the Leadership Academy (groups of 25 or more) are also unpriced. Add-on plans and the Japanese and Korean collections carry an additional fee that Udemy does not quantify publicly.
How is the Udemy Business Team Plan price calculated?
Udemy states the formula directly: number of users multiplied by the applicable price per user's licence, plus applicable taxes. It is an annual subscription priced per person, and payment for the entire subscription term is required in full. The account administrator consumes a licence, so a team of ten learners plus one admin is eleven licences.
How many seats does the Udemy Business Team Plan allow?
The plans page describes the Team Plan as being for teams of 2 to 50 people. Udemy's support documentation adds that the limits vary by region: the minimum licence requirement is 2 or 5 depending on where your organisation is located, and the maximum seat count is 20 to 50. The minimum that applies to you is shown during checkout.
Is there a Udemy Business free trial?
Yes. Udemy states there is a 14-day free trial on the Team Plan, available in most regions and limited to one free trial per organization. Billing begins after the 14-day trial ends. Once an organization has started a Team Plan trial, no further trials are permitted.
What is the difference between Udemy Business Team and Enterprise?
On the figure Udemy publishes, it is course access: the Team Plan lists access to 28,000 or more top courses and the Enterprise Plan to 30,000 or more. The other differences are structural rather than priced. Team Plan is self-serve, capped at a small seat count and paid upfront for the year; Enterprise is sold for organisations of more than 20 people through a sales conversation with no published rate.
Does Udemy Business offer nonprofit pricing?
Udemy invites registered 501(c)3 organizations to request nonprofit pricing on its plans page, but publishes no nonprofit rate. The discount exists as an offer to apply for, not as a number you can budget against in advance.
